We have had a great summer season and hope to see everyone at the picnic! Have a good time, and do not forget to thank Marilyn Manski and Ginny Profeta (and all those involved in the planning) for planing a wonderful picnic!
Congratulations to all members for a marvelous concert! The Band sounded magnificent, and all of your efforts are highly appreciated! The audience feedback also reinforced out breathtaking sound, they were blown away! Have a safe off-season, and any brass players interested in the Christmas group that will play at local rest homes and events, please contact either Sandy Becker or Joe Profeta. Please check back for periodic news updates and information on the band banquet next year!

Hello everyone! Everything on the site seems to be working correctly, including the photos page. Some new photos have been added, and a few pictures from the banquet will be added as soon as I make a second gallery. The updating issue is resolved as of now, and if anything if not updated ( excluding the members list) please contact me via email, or the President, Joe Profeta . The site is updated as information is passed from the president to myself.....so if he has not told me, that is why it is not there. Again thank you for everyone's patience. On a lighter note, great practice and turn out tonight, hopefully next Monday will be just as good!

I apologize for the lack of rehearsal schedule updates. I was having some issues with the computer that I update the website from. Those issues seem to be resolved, with the exception of the photos page, it is still not working correctly. If there still is any problems typos etc, please email me and let me know. I will get in contact with the proper board members and begin working on an updated members list. Also, for this summer, to anyone's family members who take digital photos of the band at performances I encourage you to wither email a copy to me, or give a disk containing the photos to one of the Profetas. Thank you to everyone for you patience during this techno crisis!

Hello Everyone!
Hope you all had a safe and joyous Holiday season. Last season was fantastic, and thanks to Dave, we produced our first professional recording! I hope you all had a chance to hear our Veteran's Day concert on CD. Call Dave's music store if you need one.
The band banquet in January was a huge success. Thanks to Bob Lenhardt for his selection of a professional ventriloquist, and thanks to Bob for his generosity in providing that entertainment. Another big thanks to Marilyn, Pam and Ginny for hours of preparation for the banquet menu, and additional banquet entertainment. I can't wait to plan and attend another such event. It was a great way to top off a great season.
It is hard to believe on a cold and snowy night (like tonight) but it won't be long till the robins are back, crocuses pop, and the trees bud. Our first few practices are right around the corner. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend. Dave has scheduled the first four Mondays every other week during February and March on the 12th and 26th. We will practice every week after those dates as our first concert Ligonier Diamond, Father's Day June 17, 2007 draws closer.
Financially, the band is in good condition. An announcement for those who were unable to attend the banquet, at the last board meeting, the board passed a vote issuing a $10.00 payment for each player for each concert attended during fiscal 2005-06.
The payments were distributed at the banquet. For those players due a payment, who did not attend the banquet the secretary-treasurer (Pam Long) will bring payments due players to the first two practice sessions in February.
Thanks to the few very dedicated band members who went to the school during the break and emptied our music folders, alphabetized, sorted, and organized all of our music. This was a monumental task. A special thanks to John and Pam Long for putting the finishing touch on this task by putting the scores in order and filing them.
I miss you and the music, and look forward to seeing you at rehearsal/practice. I will ask Joe Jr. to update the website ASAP.
